End of life ceremonies

Have you thought about planning your own funeral?

Nearing the time of your own death it may be difficult to think clearly about how you would wish for your funeral to be. this is where your family can help you plan.
However you may have some firm ideas about what you want and want to do some of the planning and have a say in how it goes.  You might want  a celebration of the life that you have had, or you may want a quieter honouring and acknowledgement of the loss that your family will feel. You can involve your loved ones in the planning, leave it entirely to them or take the job on yourself.

Sometimes it is easier to talk to someone  you dont know well than to tell your firends and family what you really want!

This is where it may help to have a Celebrant come and sit with you, to talk about your wishes and those of your family or friends. You may want them present or to discuss with them separately.
It is then my role as Celebrant to pull together all the elements you ahve described and weave them into a Ceremony that feels right for all parties.

Your ceremony should be as unique as you!

It might be a full burial service and graveside blessing or a shorter Crematorium Ceremony. It may be that you have a direct cremation planned and want to plan the memorial service, or a ceremony for the scattering of ashes.

With a celebrant involved early you can have the service you want for your family.

An end-of-life ceremony can be a meaningful way to mark the end of a life, whether through a traditional funeral, a celebration of life, or a more personalised gathering.
