On the 18th of May, beneath the watchful gaze of ancient stones, I celebrated a deeply symbolic and spiritual handfasting ceremony at Nine Ladies Stone Circle in Derbyshire. This sacred site, rich with history and myth, became the perfect setting for a ritual that wove together tradition, unity, and the primal pulse of drumming—an echo of divine rhythms spanning cultures and centuries. Handfasting is an age-old Celtic tradition, a binding of souls through woven cords that symbolize love, commitment, and the strength of partnership.
