Welcome to Sheryl Monk Celebrant (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
- Services
- We provide bespoke celebrant services for funerals, weddings, and other ceremonies. The details and scope of services will be agreed upon prior to commencement.
- Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing or by email.
- A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking, as agreed during initial consultations.
- The remaining balance is to be paid no later than [On the day for funerals and One Month for all other ceremonies,] before the ceremony date.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer, PayPal, or other approved methods.
- Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellation by the client must be made in writing. Refunds (if applicable) will be subject to the terms outlined in our cancellation policy.
- In the rare event that we are unable to deliver services due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund of any fees paid or assist in arranging an alternative celebrant.
- Changes to Ceremony
- Any changes to the ceremony details must be communicated as soon as possible and no later than [three days for funerals and fourteen days for all other ceremonies] before the ceremony.
- Significant changes may be subject to additional fees or loss of deposit, depending on the scope of adjustments required.
- Liability
- While every effort will be made to deliver services as agreed, we shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from circumstances beyond our control.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services.
- Intellectual Property
- Any original content created by us for the ceremony (such as scripts, vows, or readings) remains our intellectual property. You may use this content exclusively for personal purposes.
- Confidentiality
- We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Any personal information shared with us will be used solely for the purpose of planning and delivering your ceremony. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
- Complaints
- If you have any concerns or complaints, please contact us in writing within 7 days after your ceremony to allow us to address the matter promptly.
- Website Usage
- Use of our website is governed by these terms. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of website content is prohibited.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of third-party links on our website.
- Amendments
- We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be updated on our website.
