Tie the knot, festival style. A handfasting is an ancient Celtic ceremony where hands are bound together with ribbons or cords as promises are made. Traditionally it lasts "a year and a day," but your promises can last as long as you choose.
It's not just for couples. Bring your best friend, your sister, or your whole festival crew for a friendship knot: a joyful, heartfelt way to celebrate the people who matter most.
What happens? Come and find me at my handfasting tent, choose your cord colours, and I'll guide you through a short, personal ceremony witch lasts about 10 minutes. You'll leave with your cords and a keepsake certificate of handfasting. (Please note: handfastings are symbolic and not legally binding.)
